To enhance the intellectual creativity of the students, the college publishes it's own magazine "Upatyaka". Upatyaka means valley. Since Kanker district is surrounded by valleys and mountains hence the name of the magazine is "Upatyaka". This is a collection of poems, stories, memoirs and scholarly articles by the teachers and students of the college.
